New Start..

OK so let me start by saying sorry as I have been really lame and haven't done my blog since last year.

I had a bit of a crap time at the end of last summer as I got made redundant so I didn't have time to do my blog as I was more busy on trying to find jobs ect.. but anyway I got a great job and working for a fab company in the heart of Mayfair right next to the Ritz :)!

As I have finally settled down I am having days where I have some time on my hands so I thought today why not start up my Celebrity blog again, so that's what I am doing.

Since working in Mayfair I have been a regular party girl at Mahiki and I love after work drinks at the Mayfair Bar. On my first night to Mayfair bar back in October last year me and my girls was at the bar when I looked round to see Clint Eastwood standing behind us having a beer!! I couldn't believe it so of course I had to get a picture with him... (he is a huge A-Lister)!!

That night we decided to carry on with the partying at celebrity haunt Mahiki and as we was on our way we saw celebrity hugger Tanya MacIntosh so we got a quick pic with her and then went on to Mahiki.

So anyway I am starting fresh and starting my blog again :)

Here I am with Acres of Hope's Executive Director, Christine Ourada

What an elegant evening. This past Saturday I attended the Acres of Hope fundraiser, Taste for Hope. From a beautiful display of gourmet food to an exciting auction & raffle, the night was a success. It was so touching to listen to the moms from AoH share their stories. And very rewarding to see how far they have come. A huge thank you to Christine Ouarada, Tiffany Grimes, and everyone who made this event possible.

The 2010 Miss and Miss Teen Auburn Pageant

This February, I felt honored to be a guest at the 2010 Miss and Miss Teen Auburn Pageant. It is always amazing to hear woman reaching out to their community and supporting others who need it most. Thank you so much to Toni Fossum, Jennifer Ballie, and the rest of the West Coast Pageants team for welcoming me in to their pageant system. Congratulations to the new Miss Teen Auburn 2010, Megan Crosthwaite and the new Miss Auburn 2010, Ashley Hayes!

Happy New Year!
Wow, what a great note to end the year on. Looking back on 2009, I can honestly say that this has been one of the best years I have ever had! I competed in my very first pageant in February of 2009 and earned my state title in September of 2009. But, the very BEST thing that happened to me this year was getting to know all of the amazing people at Acres of Hope. What a blessing to know that in one year, I have been fortunate enough to truly make a difference! A huge thank you to each and every person who made this year so special. I am so excited to see what new experiences come in 2010. Happy New Year, everyone!!

Christine and I on Christmas Day

Christine Ourada is the Executive Director at Acres of Hope. Thanks to the help of my grandma, I was able to put together a little Christmas bag for each child at Acres. Inside the bag was a Beanie Baby stuffed animal and a few pieces of candy. I hope that all of the kids enjoyed their presents and had a wonderful Christmas!

Ringing the Bell for Salvation Army

Along with several other title holders in the Auburn area, I was asked to ring the bell for Salvation Army. It was wonderful to spend the evening all snuggled up in warm clothes and singing Christmas carols. But, the best part was knowing that we had taken part in something that was going to make a difference in other's lives!!

Palm Springs Light Parade

Merry Christmas!
Here I am with my sister title holders, Gretheel, Ashley and Dedria at the annual Palm Springs Light Parade. It was so much fun spending time with my sister title holders and our amazing director, Eddie. We enjoyed talking about nationals over hot cups of cocoa while opening our christmas presents. I loved riding in the light parade and spreading the Christmas spirit to all of the people watching the parade. Thank you so much Eddie for putting this wonderful weekend together!
